This book recaps his year, discusses a bit of history, brings the reader right along with all the tension and over-analysis. Walker actually hires two guys to help him with his team: Nando , humanist in the style of an old-school scout, and Sig, a NASA rocket scientist who spends his free time developing data models for baseball statistics.
